Trade and Media Tastings

Taste Champagne Australia – Returning August 2021

Taste Champagne is back! Champagne is the beverage of celebration and we are delighted to invite you to join us as we reignite the biggest global champagne showcase in August 2021.

Building on the growth of the champagne market in Australia over the past year, we are looking forward to reconnecting Australia’s top wine trade and media with champagne’s best houses and growers and all their new cuvées!

We are working with each of our venues and have finalised plans that comply with COVID restrictions in each state. Capacity limitations dictate numbers, hence trade passes for each venue will be allocated on a first-in basis. Sydney and Adelaide guests will have the choice of two sessions.

Registrations are now open.

Any queries please contact Jody Rolfe, Event Manager, jodyrolfe@winepress.com.au

We are delighted to invite you to Taste Champagne 2021.

Over the past seven years, Taste Champagne has exploded into the biggest global champagne showcase. In 2019 we welcomed more than 4,000 trade, media, agents and public in London, Hong Kong, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. We are thrilled to announce that Taste Champagne is back in 2021!

Taste Champagne is a grand tasting in which guests are invited to stroll at their own pace between houses, growers and cooperatives. In 2019, Taste Champagne Australia showcased 214 cuvées from 78 houses and we are lining up a similarly spectacular list in 2021.

Coming your way in August 2021, Taste Champagne is hosted by Tyson Stelzer, International Wine & Spirit Communicator of the Year, in conjunction with BlackEvents.

Taste Champagne Trade & Media tastings are reserved exclusively for wine media, retail wine buyers and sommeliers.

If you are an exhibiting agent representing a champagne house at Taste Champagne, please don’t register here. Contact us to register as an agent.

A great experience to try names I’d never tasted. I placed orders!

A unique opportunity to source some grower champagnes for our list.
