Taste Champagne – Public Tastings

Taste Champagne Australia Postponed

The health and wellbeing of guests, exhibitors and staff is of course always the highest priority of Taste Champagne.

The uncertainty surrounding the duration of lockdowns, travel bans and mass events has led us to make the difficult and regretful decision to postpone Taste Champagne Australia 2020.

Current circumstances do not offer the clarity for us to reschedule right now, but we will stay in touch and advise of new dates just as soon as the global situation has stabilised.

All tickets will be automatically carried over to the new date. Once the date is confirmed, any guests who are unable to make it will be offered a full refund.

The impact of coronavirus on champagne is particularly acute as a luxury and celebratory product, making this is a tough year for every grower, house and importer. We are resolutely committed to bringing Taste Champagne back stronger than ever, to reconnect you with champagne and its stories and people. Your support means everything to them and to us. Champagne is the beverage of celebration, and goodness knows we’ll all have more reason than ever to celebrate when we finally come through this!

As a representative of one of the houses said to us recently, “Be sure that on our side we keep corks ready to pop and we pile up a huge inventory of love and happiness to spread on a recovering world!” Bring on that day!

We are delighted to invite you to Taste Champagne 2020.

Over the past seven years, Taste Champagne has exploded into the biggest global champagne showcase. In 2019 we welcomed more than 4,000 trade, media, agents and public in London, Hong Kong, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. We are thrilled to announce that Taste Champagne 2020 will be our biggest and best event series yet!

Taste Champagne is a grand tasting in which guests are invited to stroll at their own pace between houses, growers and cooperatives. In 2019, Taste Champagne Australia showcased 214 cuvées from 78 houses and we are lining up an even bigger listing in 2020.

Coming your way in August 2020, Taste Champagne is hosted by Tyson Stelzer, International Wine & Spirit Communicator of the Year, in conjunction with BlackEvents.

It’s our great pleasure to invite you to join us in 2020 at our biggest Taste Champagne series yet!
